About Solstice Games Studio
Solstice Games was born from a passion for game development and a vision to inspire the next generation of creators to reach for the stars. We started as a project in a game development course at the University of Michigan and are now working to become a full-fledged game development studio that aims to help students take their projects beyond the classroom.
Our first game, Blockraft: Energy Crisis, is just the beginning of our journey to success. Through this game, we hope to raise enough funds and gain the necessary connections to help aspiring game developers build their dream games. For us, this is not just a business venture; it's a mission to empower young minds and help them achieve their full potential.
At Solstice Games, we believe that anything is possible with hard work, dedication, and a little bit of inspiration. We are committed to making a difference in the world of game development and beyond.

My Roles
01
Recruiter
At project inception, I was a recruiter, assembling a diverse team of programmers, marketers, and artists. Initially partnering with the three original developers, my efforts extended to securing the commitment of an additional four individuals, collectively forming the foundational team that co-founded our thriving studio.
02
Executive Producer
After forming a team, I took on the responsibility of an executive producer. I defined the project's scope, facilitated communication between departments, led weekly studio meetings, and ensured the project was on track to meet the goals.
03
Backend Programmer
Since the team was not familiar with online multiplayer development. I took on the role of setting up the backend and building an online multiplayer framework.
04
Emergency Support
Having experience in solo-game development, I am familiar with art, programming, and marketing. I am also capable of helping out different departments as needed.
